B1’de artikel kullanımını inceltiyoruz.
- Genellemeler: çoğul/sayılamayan isimlerle artikel yok → Dogs are loyal. Water is important.
- Özel isimler: çoğu ülke, şehir ve kişi adında artikel yok → I live in Turkey. Ama: the USA, the UK (çoğul/birleşik adlar).
- Sabit ifadeler: at home, by car, in bed, go to school (kurum anlamıyla).
- Belirli, bilinen şeyler için yine the: the sun, the government.
