Inversion in Conditionals
Resmî İngilizcede if düşürülüp yardımcı fiil öne alınarak koşul cümlesi kurulabilir.

- Had + özne + p.p. → 3. tip koşul (geçmiş).
- Were + özne → 2. tip koşul (hayali şimdi/gelecek).
- Should + özne → 1. tip koşulda düşük olasılık.
Olumsuzda kısaltma kullanılmaz: Had she not left... (Hadn't she değil).
