C2 · VAGUE LANGUAGE
Vague Language
- Yaklaşık sayı: twenty or so, around/about ten, tenish.
- Kategori genişletme: coffee, tea and that sort of thing, books and stuff, milk, eggs, or whatever.
- Niteliği yumuşatma: sort of/kind of tired, a bit odd.
- -ish eki: We'll meet at sixish., It was blueish.
Bu yapılar çoğunlukla gayriresmîdir; akademik yazıda hedging tercih edilir, sohbette ise vague language doğallık katar.
