Present Continuous — Questions (Review & Beyond)

A2 İngilizce gramer · Present Continuous

Hızlı tekrar: Am / Is / Are + özne + fiil-ing? → Are you working? — Yes, I am. / No, I'm not.

Temel sorular ve kısa cevaplar: Present Continuous — Basics (A1).

Bu konuda: soru kelimeli sorular, sonda kalan edat, "kim / ne" özne olduğunda soru, olumsuz sorular ve "bu aralar" soruları.

1. Soru kelimesi + am / is / are + özne + -ing

  • What are you doing? / Where is she going? / Why are they laughing?
  • Konuşmada what is çoğu zaman kısalır: What's he doing?

2. Edat sonda kalır

  • Who are you talking to? (Kiminle konuşuyorsun?)
  • What are you looking at? / What is she waiting for?

Türkçede ek kelimeye yapışır (kiminle, neye); İngilizcede edat fiilin arkasında, cümlenin sonunda kalır. With whom are you talking? çok resmîdir; günlük dilde kullanılmaz.

3. Who / What özne ise

Soru kelimesi eylemi yapanın yerindeyse ayrıca özne eklenmez ve fiil tekil olur: Who / What + is + -ing.

  • Who is making that noise? (O gürültüyü kim yapıyor?)
  • What is happening? (Ne oluyor?)

4. Olumsuz sorular: Why + isn't / aren't

  • Why aren't you eating? (Neden yemiyorsun?)
  • Why isn't the bus moving?

5. "Bu aralar" soruları

  • Are you still working at the bank?
  • How is your new course going?

Plan soruları (What are you doing tonight?) için: Present Continuous for Future (A2).

    edat (to) cümlenin sonunda kalır
