Continuous for Attitude
Continuous biçim yalnızca "şu an oluyor" demez; C2’de sıklıkla geçicilik, tutum ve duygu tonu ekler.
- Yakınma/sitem: You're always interrupting me! — always + continuous rahatsızlığı belirtir.
- Yumuşatma/kibarlık: I'm hoping you could help (I hope’tan daha nazik, daha az dayatıcı).
- Geçicilik: She's living with her parents (kalıcı değil) ↔ She lives with her parents (kalıcı durum).
- Durum fiilleri: I'm loving it gibi normalde durum fiili sayılanlar, geçici coşkuyu vurgulamak için sürekli kullanılır.
Biçimi seçerek olayın kendisi kadar ona bakışını da iletirsin.
