Nominalisation — Academic Style
Nominalisation, bir fiil ya da sıfatı isme çevirip cümleyi isim öbekleri etrafında yeniden kurmaktır. Bilgiyi yoğunlaştırır ve resmî/akademik bir ton verir.

- Fiil odaklı: They decided quickly, and this surprised us.
- İsim odaklı: The speed of their decision came as a surprise.
Etki: özne genelde soyut bir isim öbeği olur, kişi silinir ("who did it" arka plana çekilir), metin daha nesnel ve yoğun görünür. Aşırısı ağır ve okunması güç bir üsluba yol açar — dozunda kullan.
