Reported Questions
Bir soruyu aktarırken iki şey değişir: kelime sırası düz cümle olur ve soru işareti kaybolur.
- Wh- soru: "Where do you live?" → She asked where I lived.
- Yes/No soru: "Do you like it?" → He asked if / whether I liked it.
Dikkat:
- Yardımcı fiil do/does/did kaybolur.
- Aktarma fiili geçmişteyse (asked) zaman genelde bir adım geriye kayar (present → past); söylenen hâlâ geçerliyse kaydırmamak da mümkündür.
- Özne ve yardımcı fiil yer değiştirmez: ...where I was (❌ where was I).
